1. Information We Collect

ResumeCraft collects information you provide directly:

• Account data — email address, name, and profile information from your GitHub or Google account when you sign in via OAuth.
• Resume content — the text, work history, skills, and personal information you enter into your resumes.
• Job search preferences — skills, timezone exclusions, rate preferences, and notification settings you configure.
• Application records — job applications you track, including resume snapshots and cover letters you save.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data exclusively to operate ResumeCraft:

• Authenticate your account and maintain your session.
• Store and retrieve your resumes and application history.
• Run automated job scans against the JSearch API on your behalf.
• Send Telegram or Slack notifications you have configured.
• Generate AI-powered resume tailoring and scoring using the Claude CLI.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS in the US West (Oregon) region. Resume content and application records are stored encrypted at rest.

4. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — authentication and database. Privacy policy.
• JSearch / RapidAPI — job listing aggregation. Queries contain your skill keywords only, not personal data.
• Anthropic Claude — AI resume tailoring, processed locally via the Claude CLI. Resume content is sent to Anthropic's API.
• GitHub / Google OAuth — used only to authenticate your identity. We store only your email and display name.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing roger@neuralops.ca. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Cookies

ResumeCraft uses session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your account.
